Miss Acacia Rope private lessons and photo shoots in rope arts. #ladyrigger

Miss Acacia has been actively pursuing the intricacies and beauty of rope as an art form since 2014. With an appreciation for the beauty of symmetry and the details of bondage, her path to rope suspension was a natural progression.

Miss Acacia is known for her functional, yet intricate, pretty rope. In public venues, one will find her either self-suspending, or suspending one of her partners. As an avid learner, she is always open to brainstorming with fellow rope enthusiasts. Her ongoing development centers around the de-construction and re-construction of the innovative concepts demonstrated by our community, the integration of the artistry of rope with other passions, and the exploration of new ideas with a disciplined and methodical approach.

Miss Acacia believes in focusing on the fundamentals in order to understand not just the “how,” but the “why” behind the structure of each tie. Currently, she is working on the sequences of transitions and contortions.

When possible, she approaches each new tie through self-suspension first, "If I am willing to put another person in a suspension, I should know, generally, what it feels like for myself.”

Group Classes

  • Starting Pretty... Everyone loves the beautiful aesthetics of rope, be it for photos or for private, and this class is the perfect place to start learning. We begin with a simple chest harness, which helps to teach some basic knots and frictions, followed by a mermaid tie, which becomes a lesson in tension. Both these ties can be done by anyone and are easy to add personal variations to. These ties don’t require any prior rope experience. No mandatory single column needed to make these beautiful creations and both ties are suitable for female and male bottoms or even as a self-tie.
  • Fundamentals - Frictions and Knots... Whether you’re ready to move beyond single column classes, looking for a better understanding of what you’re tying, or want a refresher course... this class is for you. Frictions and knots serve many purposes and some fit certain needs better than others. In this class we will explore the purpose and function of many of the frictions and knots we use in our ties, including half hitches, munters, full turns, L-frictions and half moons. A basic, single column class is recommended prior to this class. There is no suspension of any kind in this class.
  • Thinking About Suspension Harnesses – Arms Free Chest Options... Why do we tie the things we tie? In this class, let’s forget about patterns. Instead, we’ll start by asking what we want our arms free chest harness to do once we are suspended. Depending on what the class wants their harnesses to do, we’ll figure out what components to include and build our harnesses.
  • Thinking About Suspension Harnesses – Thigh Options... Why do we tie the things we tie? In this class, let’s forget about patterns. Instead, we’ll start by asking what we want our thigh harnesses to do once we suspend. Depending on what the class wants their harnesses to do, we’ll figure out what components we want to include and start building our harnesses.
  • Evaluating Harnesses & Hangers: A beginner suspension class for the intermediate rope top... You know some harnesses; maybe a pretty chest harness, a functional futomomo or two, or maybe a hip harness with the potential for a lot of variation. But now what? This class is designed to help you get from the floor into the air. We will learn how to know if your harnesses are locked off and safe for suspension, what hangers to use and where to attach them, basic up-line management, and what to do when things don’t work out as planned.
  • Suspension Harness Round Table... We all have things that aren’t working in our ties. No matter how perfect our harnesses look on the ground, they don’t always behave as planned once we are in the air. Let’s get together and see what solutions we can find. Come to class with questions and examples of your problem harnesses and struggles.
  • Partnering Dynamics - Connective Rope... It’s what everyone wants, right? But what is connective rope? And what about when you are looking to tie with a platonic partner - what does connection look like then? Come explore the many ways we can experience the joy of connective rope outside of the sexual sphere. Sadistic joy, laughter, a dance of pressure and predicament, the intellectual challenge of an intricate rope puzzle, and so much more will be explored with insight from a female rope top.
  • It’s Riggers Chess, Harry!... It’s a battle not to the death, but to the pain…of the bottom in this fun, hands on class. Come stretch your sadistic mind as you challenge a fellow rigging enthusiast to a game of strategy, flow, creativity, and - of course - pain. Push your bottom into mind-bending positions then pass the reins off to your challenger. Will the other top be able to build on what you created? What happens when you throw in a blindfold and challenge the bottom to correctly identify the top? The game continues until the bottom taps out. May the odds be ever in your favor.
